Margrete Ripa leaves HPH Secretariat after 5 years

As of September 1st 2009, we say goodbye to our Secretary, Margrete Ripa, whom you all know, and who has been with the International HPH Secretariat for 5 years.

The reason for Margrete's leaving is not that she has moved on to other ventures in terms of employment, but instead she has decided to withdraw from working altogehter. In this way, she plans to be able to spend more time with her grandchildren, spend more time playing tennis and so forth. In short - an early, but truly well deserved, retirement.

Everybody at WHO CC in Copenhagen has been very happy to have worked closely with Margrete over the years, and as we are sure you all know, she has made such a tremendous effort within both the HPH Secretariat and within the HPH Network as such.

We are grateful for the work Margrete has done for health promotion during her time here, we are grateful for the great colleagueship she has shown us all, and we hope you will all join us in wishing her the very best for her future.
