German Network of HPH

The German Network of Health Promoting Hospitals (DNGfK) could celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2006 and looks back on a very successful work. Steadily growing, it now has 75 members. There are public, confessional and private hospitals gathered in this network, which puts its focus on personal contacts and a creative exchange between all members. Representatives of member hospitals meet regularly in regional or thematic working groups. Bilateral exchanges are initiated by the members. The Network organizes the yearly National Conference on Health Promotion in Hospitals and creates the Net-News, which are published 4 times per year. The website and database for members are other means of information. Besides that we are in contact with a lot of institutions and organisations which work in related fields and try to develop topics and new thematic areas.
